Got to the venue while Conducting from the Grave was playing. They seemed pretty solid for the most part with the exception a few epic breakdowns, but it didn't ruin their music completely. Meh.
Then Annotations came on and plagued the stage for a while...I'll leave it at that.
Misery Index was next and was really solid. First band to really get the crowd moving. I don't think I would ever go to a show just for them but they were an excellent opener.
Then it was time for fucking ARSIS! These guys were great, even though Jim's guitar was having problems for most of the set. After the first song he left the stage to change guitars while the rest of the band played Forced to Rock and he got back just in time to start A March for the Sick. You couldn't even hear his solo during The Face of my Innocence. So it kind of blew about his sound, but overall it didn't take away from their performance much and they were still amazing. Can't wait to see them again, hopefully with better sound
And what can I say about Dying Fetus. In a word, fantastic. Every song was brutal, crushing, and executed perfectly. There's not much else to say, these guys are true pros at what they do and it shows.
