London show tonight, bitches.

I'm pretty happy with their selections from the other albums. I would probably have preferred other selections in place of 'April Ethereal', 'Harlequin Forest' and 'The Lotus Eater', purely because they played all three of those last year on the Progressive Nation tour, so it would have been nice to get something different, but never mind.

And I'm pleased 'Demon of The Fall' hasn't been put back in. If Opeth were ever in danger of over-playing a song, that's the one.

Compared to the last full set I saw from them (the 'Roundhouse Tapes' show back in 2006), this is completely different. Only one song the same. So very happy in that sense.

It'll be interesting to compare this set to their Summer festival sets. I'll probably see them twice this Summer, assuming running orders work in their favour, so it'll be interesting to see what they drop/change.

I will be buying the special London t-shirt tonight, for sure. But I won't be buying the new version of 'Blackwater Park'. What the hell are they playing at with this? Why bring out a new special edition and leave off the two bonus tracks?! Now the only reason to buy it for people who already have the album is the needless live song.
