Shattered: Recording Session, Day 1
As I last said I last promoted my band. We gained a new singer and bassist (The bassist in the video was a fill in who offered to learn the songs in an hour and a half and go on stage with us) This will be the first recording of us as a full band!
After about two hours of setting everything up. We only had enough time to do a quick run through of 2 songs on the drums. They were rough run through but when I listened back to the takes they sounded phenomenal for the setup we got. Of course there are a couple mistakes in the tracks but for a first take it is really damn good. I've never recorded myself outside of a live setting. So hearing the playback is just awesome to me. I'm actually starting to believe that I might kickass behind the drums!
Monday the real recording begins. Once we get the songs recorded and mixed properly we'll be posting them up on our Myspace, Facebook, Youtube for all of you to enjoy.
