Not a bad set. Kinda makes me want to stay for Sunday night's show at Maryland Death Fest, but I don't think it will be in the cards for me.
Basically, they're playing a lot of stuff from the new album (which is impressing the hell out of me more every time I hear it...which I did not expect, honestly) - and maybe one or two songs from each of their other albums. Also, they are playing all three of the tracks which the audience voted for them to re-record on the new album, which is also expected ("Out of the Body" = HELL YES!!!)
What I want to know is...where the hell is "Deify Thy Master"!?! I realize fans probably voted for "Out of the Body" over that song from the "Consuming Impulse" album, but how could a classic like DTM not be in the set list?
It's the best song Pestilence has ever done!
Still, a pretty good set list (aside from my little rant
).
