I must say this is the best concert I have seen, ever. I have seen them 7 times since '86 and this, by far, outdid any of them. The light show was bitchin and the energy from them as well as the audience was unbelievable. The whole arena was electric and chanting along to every song as well as the new ones, which is not common at all with new shit. I have seen quite a few bands - Ozzy (first live exposure to Metallica), Sabbath, Maiden in their heyday, Judas, ect., and these guys fuckin blew it out with little pyro or props. It was the energy, that was the part that was phenomenal. These guys are on fire. Maybe cus it's the beginning of the tour? I don't know but I saw them at the beginning of the Load tour and at the end, these aren't the same dudes. They were fucking tight. The last time I saw them, they were very sloppy. AND they they did a fucking 5 song acoustic set. Total turn off considering I went to see a thrash band.
ANYWAYS.....sorry for rambling.....it's late. Highlights were Ride The Lightning, Broken, Beaten and Scarred, Nightmare, No Remorse, Day That Never Comes, Master, Blackened, and of course Search and Destroy. It seemed like they did not want to stop playing as they kept playing this song. The crowd was eating it up. The song ended 2 times and they went back into it a 3rd time. It was awesome. Then after it was all over, they seem to be having a one on one with audience.

SEE this concert! Every single seat was filled floor to ceiling and nobody was getting out of their seat. This is the first band I've seen to do that - maybe I just need to get out more? They were fucking good. A very solid performance.
