2. Genghis Tron- Board Up the House (Hm, hip-hop beats, grindcore spazzouts, and vocal-processed clean vocals, meets epic drone)
3. Protest the Hero- Fortress (Between the Buried and Me with more clean vocals)
4. Earth- The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull (desert rock meets post-rock)
5. Flogging Molly- Float (a more straightforward rock Flogging Molly album)
6. Warrel Dane- Praises to the War Machine (a more power metally Nevermore with more focus on vocals)
7. Men As Trees- Weltschmerz (post-rock with hardcore yelling and awesome awesome samples and strings)
8. An Horse- Not Really Scared (Tegan and Sara meets Modest Mouse)
9. Judas Priest- Nostradamus (you've probably already heard it)
10. Fleet Foxes- Fleet Foxes (Sparrows Swarm and Sing with gospel influence)
I started to listen to that Opeth album but I couldn't really get into it so I put on something else. I'll give it a fair shot at some point though. Thanks for the little write-ups, I might check some of it out Fleet Foxes seems pretty interesting.
