I don't think that's the point for me either. The record is kind of spooky and Attila's screeches seems to be from the netherworld. The brutality that is embedded in this record is not brutal for the sake of brutal, it is not even a typical 100000 miles per hour Black Metal record. It is a extraordinary piece of horror... think about that in the same terms you approach Clive's Barker Hellraiser... that's what I mean. That's it, the record is the best soundtrack for the spookiest horror movie ever.
