Motley Crue -- Las Vegas, NV -- February 7th, 2009
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
Las Vegas Nevada, USA

Opening Act- The Last Vegas

Show notes- Motley Crue played 2 nights at THE JOINT (February 6 & 7). This was the last concert for THE JOINT as it is closing, and the 'NEW' bigger, improved JOINT will open in early April. The band was extremely tight, and seemed to be very loose at this small venue.

My only complaint that i have seen Motley Crue many times & why they have decided to encore with "Home Sweet Home" is beyond. You have a kick ass setlist, now end it with a bang something like -"Red Hot" , "Helter Skelter" or even "Smokin' In The Boy's Room":allan:

Kickstart My Heart
Shout At The Devil
Saints Of Los Angeles
Live Wire
Too Fast For Love
On With The Show
Louder Than Hell
Motherfucker Of The Year
White Trash Circus
Don't Go Away Mad
Same Ol' Situation
Primal Scream
Looks That Kill
Girls, Girls, Girls
Dr. Feelgood
Home Sweet Home

Crue 03/13/09 at Connecticut Mohegan Sun Arena
with The Lost Vegas, Theory of Deadman, Hinder
arrived at 7:30, then had dinner, missed all of Vegas, Theory, and most of Hinder. We got moved down to fourth row center, ended up catching Tommy Lee's drumstick, the Hinder setlist, numerous guitar picks. They were filming "White Trash Circus" for Jimmy Kimmel Live. So they performed it twice, not sure why though..... back up singers in all (Josh Todd from Buckcherry, Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach, and others, i think).
Great show, awesome being so close. No boob-cam, but Tommy Lee shared his big bottle of Jagermeister with all of us. Some fat chick drank most of it. Mick Mars sounded great, so did Nikki, and Vince's voice. Afterwards, saw Vince struttin around the casino with some fine ladies and some huge bodyguards. Hung out with those same "White Trash Circus" backup singers for a bit and went home.
Setlist remained the same, they did all the staples. I would have liked a bit more older stuff off of Shout at the Devil and Too Fast for Love.....
but great show overall.....:axe::axe:
