3 CD version of Alive in Athens + The Glorious Burden, and Horror Show. You can basically start and finish there. Though I would recommend at least giving the last two (Framing Armageddon and The Crucible of Man) a listen because they're playing a collective 6 songs from them. Framing Armageddon is better than Crucible of Man even though it has Ripper and not Barlow.

days of purgatory - preferably the 2 disc, but the 1 disc woud suffice
alive in athens 3
glorious burden

as to horror show, framing and crucible, if you are going to go to the show, the ones they play would be the ones to focus on; however, if they catch your attention, horror show is actually pretty good.

and i agree that framing is better than crucible...

Indeed. Framing was a great album. Sure, I was amongst the crowd who considered Barlow rejoining Iced Earth equivalent to the second coming of Christ, but Framing was better than Crucible.

But, anything they did with Barlow before that completely eclipses Framing Armageddon. I'm interested to see how the re-recoding sounds when they re-do the entire album for that set Jon keeps bringing up.
