Dream Judas Priest '08 Set
New tour, new thread. This was pretty damn hard narrowing it down to about an hour to allow for the new album to be played in its entirety.

Dream set list huh.. yours is pretty good... this would be for one of the shows that they don't play the whole new album, as mentioned by the band...

BETWEEN THE HAMMER AND THE ANVILLLLLLLLLLL |
Since the band have now said there will be none or very few 'Nostrodamus' in it's entirety shows we can assume 4 new tracks will be played. That leaves 14 tracks left from an 18 song gig. They are gonna play :
Breaking The Law Living After Midnight YGATC Hell Bent For Leather Victim Of Changes Painkiller The Green Manalishi Hellion/Electric Eye At least 1 track from Angel Of Retribution Most of these will also feature Turbo Lover Metal Gods Beyond The Realms Of Death The Ripper Diamonds And Rust Touch Of Evil Heading Out To The Highway As you can see, that dosn't leave a lot of space for any obscure gems! We may get 1 or 2 if we are lucky, but they ain't gonna be anything like Here Come The Tears or Between The Hammer & The Anvil, more like The Sentinel or The Sinner. I know we all say drop the classics, but they never will! |

You think so? Let see, Angel Of Retribution tour 3/4 new tracks, Demolition tour 3 tracks, Painkiller tour 3/4 tracks, Ram It Down tour 4. You have to go back to the Fuel For Life tour in '86 to see JP playing 6 new songs and that was supporting Turbo for gods sake!!

I'm not going by recent trends, I'm going by the fact that the band has actually discussed playing this whole new album live.
Judging by that, my instincts tell me that when or if they don't play the whole thing live, they're going to want to play a lot of the songs anyway. |
