1. Catch of the Century 2. Sacrifice 3. Babylon 4. Lavatory Love Machine 5. Tears of a Mandrake 6. Vain Glory Opera 7. Drum Solo 8. Superheroes 9. Save Me 10. Fallen Angels 11. Avantasia 12. King of Fools 80 minutes I know it has been said before, but what is with the short headlining sets? This is getting pathetic. Let the complaining begin..... |
That is short...at least they played avantasia, that ALMOST makes up for loosing 20 minutes. Wait, when they played last time with hammerfall in the states, I think there set time was 70-75 minutes? now im getting mad.
|
Why is it bands who are in their 50s (like Rush) can play 3 hours, but a young band full of energy can play play 80 minutes??
|
Very very very short set, eek.
|
Second of all, in the tradition of Heaven and Hell, cut songs but leave a drum solo!? Felix Bonky is not that great of a drummer, and I'd rather hear the Piper Never Dies than him noodling around on his simplistic kit for a bunch of drooling retarded fans.
|
I have a theory on short setlists. Bands like Rush don't need support acts, but for a less well-known band like Edguy, they have 3-4 opening bands that all play 30-45 minutes, leaving only 1-2 hours for the headliner.

Rush is not a good band to compare to because they don't move around a whole lot on stage. Plus, they take intermission breaks. |
Fuck this, short ass setlist with a bunch of shitty songs, what the hell!? Maybe I'll save some money the 29th.

Are you referring to fans of Edguy or fans of drum solos? :hmm: |
Man this is like extremely extremely disappointing, wow.
