Muse -- Edinburgh, UK -- August 24th, 2006
Rock band. But they were so good that i just had to leave a review.
Setlist: Knights Of Cydonia Hysteria Supermassive Black Hole Showbiz Map Of The Problematique Forced In Bliss Butterflies And Hurricanes Apocalypse Please Invincible Starlight Newborn ======= Time Is Running Out Stockholm Syndrome ======= Take A Bow That is confirmed with their official site. However I'm sure they played Plug-In Baby in their set too. It was a really cool stage setup and the support band (My Chemical Romance) were somewhat better than my expectations. They were still pretty rubbish though. The stage set was really nice - one of the best i've seen to date. (yes better than Tool) Matt Bellamy (lead singer/guitarist) had a chaos pad on 2 of his guitars so he could mess around with musical effects and this was real nice. They may not be a metal band and you may not expect to mosh but this band is well worth checking out. I wasn't going to go to this originally but changed my mind last minute and there were no regrets. One of the best shows i've been to ever. And that's saying something. Anyone else like them or heard of them? |
Wow they are sure wanking over that new material :tp:
I used to like muse, have their first 2 albums. Unfortunately they seem to have ignored them for the most part. I do like knights of cydonia though, I can imagine it being a cool opener |
