I liked the Blaze set better. Love me some Lord of the Flies.

And Di'Anno was beyond awful.

DisposableJustice 06-05-2014 05:15 PM

Ya I agree good Blaze era songs

Were you really expecting otherwise?

I saw Di'Anno back in 2009 and I was standing near the stage not really paying attention and this old guy with a cane walked by me. Well it turned out that the old guy with a cane (who had serious walking issues) turned out to be Di'Anno. It was kind of sad actually.

Seeing Blaze in a few weeks in Bergen, Norway for the "Iron Maiden Maiden England Tour" after party. Weird one I tells ya. Iron Maiden plays the same night in Bergen for "20,000 or so people" then Blaze is playing at a pub for 200 people for the "after party".

On another related Iron Maiden note, going to see The Iron Maidens(all female Iron Maiden tribute band) when I am in California this weekend.

See you at that Blaze show.

I wasn't expecting him to be good, no. But completely immobile and unable to hit a single note? No, not quite.

Yeah, it's OK. I mean, Blaze was on fantastic form, he really nailed everything, but the set was sadly predictable. All songs that he always plays solo anyway. I wanted something different.

I am looking forward to seeing Blaze at the Maiden England after party in Bergen in a few weeks. I have not had the opportunity to see Blaze so I am quite happy to see him. The Clansman is one of my favorite Blaze era songs.
