Styx -- Alpharetta, GA -- May 24th, 2014

Excellent night of classic rock, definitely catch this tour if possible!

sources: setlist.fm, me

Don Felder:
1.Take It Easy (The Eagles song)
2.One Of These Nights (The Eagles song)
3.You Don't Have Me
4.Those Shoes (The Eagles song)
5.Seven Bridges Road (The Eagles song)
6.Witchy Woman (The Eagles song)
7.Heavy Metal (Take A Ride)
8.Heartache Tonight (The Eagles song)
9.Life In The Fast Lane (The Eagles song)
10.Hotel California (The Eagles song, with Tommy Shaw)

Got to the venue a little late so we missed the first three songs, but setlist.fm said this was what was played. Overall he was pretty solid, I've never been a Eagles fan really, but I love Heartache Tonight and Life In The Fast Lane. Good way to start off the evening.

8/10

Foreigner:
1.Double Vision
2.Head Games
3.Cold As Ice
4.Waiting For A Girl Like You
5.Feels Like The First Time
6.Urgent
7.Starrider
8.Juke Box Hero
Encore:
9.I Want To Know What Love Is
10.Hot Blooded

Perfect show, just as good as the last time I saw them two years ago. Best song was definitely Juke Box Hero. I wish they would've played Long Long Way From Home instead of Starrider, but other than that excellent show.

9.5/10

Styx:
1.The Grand Illusion
2.Too Much Time On My Hands
3.Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)
4.Lady
5.Light Up
6.Crystal Ball
7.Superstars
8.Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)
9.You Can't Always Get What You Want/Live And Let Die/Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)/Bohemian Rhapsody (piano crowd sing-a-long medley)
10.Come Sail Away
Encore:
11.Rockin' The Paradise
12.Renegade
On With Everything

Perfect show, perfect set choice, perfect screens, perfect everything! Crystal Ball and Superstars were both very good additions to the set! Best song was tie between Rockin' The Paradise and Crystal Ball. Will try to see them when they come back again later this year!

10/10

Needs more Mr.Roboto

They basically disowned all of Kilroy Was Here when Dennis left, since that practically was his album. It's good song but every song in the set puts it to shame. I would take Superstars, Crystal Ball, Rockin' The Paradise, and Light Up over that any day.

I definitely gotta get around to seeing Styx one of these days. Tommy Shaw still sounds really really awesome.

Definitely try to, some of the best screen stuff you'll ever see.

True. I saw them last year and he is great. The one who really surpised me was Shaw, I didn't realize he was such an amazing singer as well.

This show was an amazing show all around. Having never seen Foreigner or Styx live before, I think they live up to the legacy of how you would think the band would play live. The set times were some of the best I've ever seen at a show and at a decent price for lawn.

Yeah Tommy is great on vocals too!
