Russian Circles -- Cambridge, MA -- February 21st, 2014

This was my 5th time seeing Russian Circles and definitely not the last. They put on another crushing performance which left my ears ringing. My buddy and I were off to the left of the stage almost in the front row. We had a fantastic view. Love getting really close for these guys so I can see all the intricate playing. Especially from Dave on drums. KEN Mode and Inter Arma were also there and very good. No sets since I'm not too familiar with them. As always, when Russian Circles comes back to the area, I'll be there.

Russian Circles set:

309
Harper Lewis
1777
Geneva
Schiphol
Deficit
Carpe
Burial
Mldek

Youngblood

Edit: Can someone fix the year in the title? My first post in the setlist forum and I fuck it up. Go me.

Yeah, that was a sick show. I got lucky I found someone who had extra tickets, since it sold out just before I was going to buy them. Well worth it! Inter Arma especially blew me away!

Seeing this in Ann Arbor next week, mostly for Inter Arma. Looking forward to it.

What a triple threat bill, you are lucky!

Yeah all three bands were awesome at the Brooklyn show. Managed to snag a ticket earlier today, so glad I did.

Seeing this in Cleveburg tomorrow night, hopefully. Can't wait.

I've seen KEN Mode and InterArma once each, and they were both quite good (KM played roughly the same set that night, which was killer), and RC always brings the fucking heat. Speaking of which, that's a wicked awesome RC set. "Geneva" is such a blockbuster. Glad to see they're still tearing it up with that song. "Schipol" is such a beautiful track - perfect for a mid-set break from the heavier stuff.

EDIT: Oh, and stoked beyond belief that they're playing "Burial" as well. RC playing a death metal song live is just tits. These cats have some serious artistic range to have pulled that one off so well.:rockdevil

At the Tampa date, RC's drummer messed up twice during Mldek, Brian poked fun at him for it lol

We didn't get Youngblood, though :(
