Rob Flynn & Friends -- Oakland, CA -- January 17th, 2014
One off benefit show, went pretty smoothly other than an issue with the bass feeding back between Electric Funeral and NIB.
The flyer just had 8pm listed, which apparently was the doors time because I got there just before 8 and didn't get in until almost 9 because there was a line around the block. Missed the first couple AC/DZ songs but I could hear from outside.
I was pleasantly surprised how good they were and this was just about the perfect type of show for them to be playing.
Walk All Over You
Bad Boy Boogie
Beatin' Around the Bush
What's Next To the Moon
Let There Be Rock
The Black Sabbath set had Rob Flynn and Craig Locicero of Forbidden on guitar throughout. Locicero played most of the leads and did them justice. The bass player from Death Angel and one other guy played bass on all of the songs that didn't have special guests. Not sure about drums, I saw Paul Bostaph on the side of the stage but I couldn't even tell you if he played. Exodus drummer Tom Hunting sang a bunch of great songs and was excellent. The dude from Suicide Silence/All Shall Perish did Symptom of the Universe just screaming, which was pretty lame, but came back for Sweet Leaf and was a little better. Overall a pretty awesome show, great to hear multiple guitars for Sabbath solos for once.

Thank you SS for ruining something else.
Surprised they didn't have Zetro do vocals on any BS songs, since he was there.
Tom Hunting sounds pretty damn good in those videos, especially since nobody knew he could sing before this show. Give him backup vocals on the next Exodus album please.
What a waste of Gary Holt!
Looks like the drummer was Andy Galeon, the original drummer for Death Angel. And goddamn from those videos, Tom killed on vocals.

I don't take him as much of a Black Sabbath guy. And I'm pretty sure he was only there to get "Slayer" on the bill.
Link to Cornucopia intro and Supernaut in the first post is the abortion of Symptom, by the way.
The way Hunting sounds and behaves, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out he fronts a covers band in bars or something.

I don't think he's in cover bands, but he's been known to go bananas for karaoke I believe. I think at one point in the very early days of Exodus he considered being the lead singer.
SS singer is Eddie Hermida, SpiralArms singer is Tim Narducci(ex-Systematic), and assuming its the current DA bassist its Sam Diosdada
