I want to see these guys again without the fucking seated floor.

I'll never see them again no matter what! I can't stand the way Ozzy acts on stage. He looks like a goofy fool the way he hobbles around and has the audience jump. And he has them do it at times that don't even make sense. This is a case where I'd actually rather see less energy on stage by him. And how many fucking times does he need to tell the audience to go crazy and make some noise? There's nothing wrong with the frontman being a bit excited and getting the audience going, but he way overdoes it and looks like a retard doing it.

Wouldn't happen to have any idea about Uncle Acid's set, would you?

They don't do that here. Not that it matters to me because I have level one seats for both my shows.

Nope. Only saw the last song. I like them musically, but hate their vocals.

Of all the things that can be wrong with an Ozzy performance, to pick this out as a reason not see them is just fucking stupid.

Sure he cuts a bit of a sad figure with the way he moves, but newsflash, junior: when you get old, movement gets harder. I'd rather he keep doing it and keep enjoying himself so he performs better than be forced to stand still, because knowing what he's like that would just make him miserable and the performances would suffer.

Right now, I've seen Sabbath twice in the space of 18 months and he's sounded great both times. I want that to continue.

Can't wait for round 3 next week, then round 4 next Summer. Last night's show was awesome.

It's so sad though that for so many people there, the setlist was:

War Pigs
(some stuff)
Iron Man
(some stuff)
Paranoid

Bad Sabbath is still better than no Sabbath, but the reason Ozzy sounds good is because someone else sings with him. It is common knowledge that though the later part of his solo tours, Robert Mason was backstage singing along with him. Throw in some technical tricks and he sounds better than he did 30 years ago. Not complaining mind you, plenty of other people do it.

That was years ago. There's been no talk of that still going on, and I heard him muddle up lyrics more than once last night, so I'm pretty confident he was the only voice I was hearing.

Let's kill this Robert Mason shit with a quick Google search of "Robert Mason Ozzy".

4th result from the top of the search- Ozzy backup vocalist from 95-96.

I'm sure there's some processing going on with Ozzy's vocals at the soundboard, but they sure do let a lot of cracks and lyrical flubs slip by if the "effects" are as heavy as some people think they are. Honestly, I think they probably just give him some standard EQ, reverb, a pinch of autotune and echo when the songs call for it. Anything more than that, and it would be legitimately noticeable.
