Bleeding Through -- Detroit, MI -- November 8th, 2013
Sworn In played first. I've seen them 4x now. The 1st time I saw them I thought they were killer live, but since then I've noticed how mediocre & generic they are. It's almost like they are trying to hard to convey the pissed off teenager persona. I've seen that a billion times, and I'm just tired of it.
Gideon played next. They played a short set because their guitarist was really sick, but even their set alone was worth the price of the ticket. I absolutely love this band.
Oceano - They suck, period.
Winds of Plague was next. I've seen them 6 or 7x now. I guess they're OK, but I am not a fan. They just don't do it for me.
This was Bleeding Through's farewell tour, sadly. I'm really glad they decided to do one more US tour for their fans and that I was able to make it. It was my 4th time seeing them. During the Boondock Saints part at the beginning of "Love Lost In a Hail of Gunfire," before the song even started, a massive pit opened up! There were only about 300 people at the show, but they were diehards. The crowd was going off all night! I normally stand in the back at shows now (I'm too old to mosh anymore : ) ), but tonight I was right up front the whole time. They said their first ever show in Michigan was in Ypsilanti in 2001 w/ Throwdown. They dedicated "On Wings of Lead" to their friends in the Michigan bands Walls of Jericho, xTyrantx, and The Black Dahlia Murder. Other highlights were "Love In Slow Motion" and "Sister Charlatan." Normally the crowd does a sort of half-hearted "one more song" chant when bands leave the stage, but tonight it was definitely sincere. I was even screaming for that. They came back out & said they have not done an encore on this tour yet, and they only knew how to play one more song because one of the guitarists from the band Impending Doom is filling in for them on this tour. Wow, what a show! Off the top of my head, I seriously think show is in the discussion w/ OrionFest, Alice In Chains, and The Ghost Inside's headlining tour for "Best show of 2013" for me. What an amazing night! R.I.P. Bleeding Through, and thanks for the music!

I do have a feeling there will be another leg of this tour since it's stated as the first leg of the US Farewell tour.
Might check this tour out. WOP is a band I enjoy seeing and Bleeding Through isn't bad.
Kevin what's the bleeding through merch looking like? Lot of shirts and hoodies? Any price points? I'm seeing them weds in nj
Dc metal yeah on their fb they stated another us leg next year
I think it's cool WOP is on this tour. They've been good friends with Bleeding Through since 03, so it's great they'd be part of the farewell.

I don't think they said that, did they? And besides, if there's a second leg it's probably going to be on their home turf or whatever.

Yeah the lead singer posted several times on his facebook referring to it as the first leg of the US tour.
Diid Gideon, WoP and/or BT have tour shirts or vinyl, and do you remember prices?
And i don't suppose they had any farewell tour posters?
A few people asked about merch... I did not really pay attention to the merch, sorry. I have a Bleeding Through hoodie and 3 or 4 t-shirts of theirs already.
I'd imagine they'd have some kind of special farewell tour shirt.
