Pretty decent. Not quite as good as Queensryche the night before in the same venue, but nearly there. Definitely better than last time Annihilator played the same place three years ago.
Great response too, aided by the killer setlist.
The only shame was Ultra Motion, Fiasco, and Carnival Diablo had to be cut. I say "had to be", there was easily time to play Ultra Motion in the encore where it was intended, but they were told before coming back on that they were only allowed to play one more song.
And The Fun Palace is missing.
That seems like a real long setlist by thrash standards even before those songs were cut. Are two hours a standard for Annihilator? With those songs back in there, I'd imagine the show would be close to that long.
Well, last time I saw them they only played 90 minutes, so I guess longer sets are a bit new (as are lights; it was great to actually be able to see them this time). With a catalogue of great stuff like theirs, they should play longer sets. And I like that they've pulled out a bunch of different stuff too.
Could do without Knight Jumps Queen and Ambush for starters. Need something off Schizo Deluxe! Overall though GREAT setlist.
Phantasmagoria is a MUST at all shows though, can't believe that's not on Re-Kill.
Phantasmagoria is played some nights on this tour. They're changing the order/songs every night at the moment.
I could do without it because they played it last time they were here. Agreed could have done without Ambush too, but Knight Jumps Queen is fun, and I've not seen them do that before.
I dislike the absence of The Fun Palace though. I know it's played a lot, and I have seen them do it twice before, but it's still damn awesome.
