Three locals were on the show: Kodiak, Alan Smithee, and Quaere Verum. The latter two are prog bands and fit the general sound of the show, so no real complaints. These last few dates of the tour have a band from Chicago, Alaya, on them as opposed to Ever Forthright or Chon like the earlier dates. They were alright, but I can't give you a set since they haven't released an EP or an album yet, just one song. They're on Basick Records, and their album should be out soon. Last night also happened to be the first show of their first tour.

Evan Brewer is currently touring with his solo act, but this time it's a full band including current Faceless drummer Alex Rudinger and former Faceless bassist Brandon Giffin. They killed it, and the reworked versions of the songs from the first album sounded great. They might have played one more song off the first album after The Adjacent Possible, but I can't remember right now.

Last Chance to Reason recently released Level 3, and also experienced the loss of two guitarists. As a result Robby Baca (The Contortionist) and their old lead guitarist Tom Waterhouse were filling in. Given that they both did not write or play on Level 3, it's not really a surprise that only two songs were played off it, which leads to my only complaint: Seven songs for a headlining set? Seriously? Especially since one of those is only around 1:30 long. LCTR has never been a popular band, and now that they're on the backburner, never will be. I understand that, but I would think they would play more than seven songs for a headlining set. With that said, everybody nailed it.

I know most people on this forum don't care about either "band", but since I haven't' seen sets for either anywhere online, I figure I would post them.
