Bloodstock Open Air 2013 (Day 1) -- Catton Hall, Derbyshire -- August 9th 2013
 
First time going to this festival and one of the best by far. I annually attend Download, Reading on occasion and Sonisphere (When it happens!). This was by far the smallest out of the lot and the most metal. Met some really cool guys and discovered some awesome bands.

Exactly the same setlist as last year. Shouldn't be a surprise.

As well, I doubt Metal Blade is making him do anything. Even though it is indeed the same set he played last year, I'm actually glad he's shaken things up a bit by adding songs like The Candle, and especially Dreams. Neither are my favorites, even from their respective albums, but at least it's something different.

Aardshock Magazine were happy to see him @ GMM, but they said that he hasn't got as many classics as Mercyful Fate.

Agreed. If Metal Blade had ANY power over what he does, they'd have made him finish that pair of triple DVDs that were meant to be released 5+ years ago.
