Denim and Leather -- Philadelphia, PA -- March 2nd, 2013
Tonight was the first of a couple of shows my band (MindMaze) are playing with the classic metal tribute band Denim and Leather, comprised of mostly some regional talent, plus Helstar frontman James Rivera (has been in many other bands as well) on vocals. Really fun show for sure.

Denim and Leather setlist:
01 Hammerhead (Flotsam and Jetsam)
02 Restless and Wild (Accept)
03 Flight of Icarus (Iron Maiden)
04 The Green Manalishi (Judas Priest)
05 Wasted (Def Leppard)
06 Neon Knights (Black Sabbath)
07 Gods of Wrath (Metal Church)
08 Top of the Bill (Scorpions)
09 See You in Hell (Grim Reaper)
10 Curse of the Pharaohs (Mercyful Fate)
11 Holy Diver (Dio)
12 Running Free (Iron Maiden)
13 Hell Bent For Leather (Judas Priest)
14 Run With the Pack (Helstar)
15 Denim and Leather (Saxon)

MindMaze setlist:
01 Warrior (Riot)
02 Never Look Back
03 Breaking the Chains
04 This Holy War
05 Children of the Damned (Iron Maiden)
06 Dark City
07 Destiny Calls
08 Burn (Deep Purple)
09 Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath)

We still wanted to rep our own material, but we laid the covers on pretty thick considering the type of crowd and the spirit of the night - we got a great response to all of them.

Both of those sets are excellent. Burn is my 2nd favorite Purple song ever.

Helstar is currently active (with Rivera), but as for them playing in KC, I have absolutely no idea whether or not that's likely/possible, haha.
