I can see Star Wars getting fucked up.

I just feel like it's a safe, easy choice. I was hoping Disney would be a little more unorthodox with their pick like they have been with the Marvel movies.

- just hope that whatever they do doesn't make the 100+ novels I've read obsolete. Just please take the current Expanded Universe into account. Do a totally different story, that's fine. But don't set the movie in 45ABY and have Chewbacca there (Star Wars fans will get that one).

Exactly! The stories have already been written. If he makes a good movie adaptation of that, then good, but if not, he kills Star Wars.
