I must give continuous props to Metallica for having such great set lists. They really do deliver for their fans which always nice to see. That Neil Young set list isn't to shabby either! I don't listen to a lot of him, but the songs I know from it I like quite a lot.. "Fuckin' Up" is a great song.. love that riff

Not it was their standard stage setup for festival shows with the second story level; it did have the snake pit which is kinda weird since they didn't pull the black album in full

I'm listening to some samples of the show at livemetallica.com and I gotta say, James sounds downright incredible compared to the stuff I heard from 08-10, maybe even earlier. Hit the Lights alone sounds just fucking awesome. brutal, chances are what you heard on YouTube was accurate, but looks like you just happened to be one of the first few crowds to hear James sound awesome again for the first time in forever!

Lars is still a shitty, shitty drummer though.
