Trivium -- St. Paul, MN -- May 14th, 2012
Holy Crap! That show was the absolute best! Trivium is doing this awesome game trading thing on tour where you bring them SNES or N64 games and they trade it for Merch, Signed Drum Heads, Tickets and Guitar Picks! The show was opened by 3 local openers and then trivium took stage and this was the 5th time ive seen them since 2007 when I first saw them. They were on fire tonight Matt and Corey were having a blast even though the stage was a good 10 degrees hotter then the outside (making it roughly 95 degrees) They played 2! Songs from the CRUSADE album (my personal favorite) the crowd reaction to both of them was amazing. They also played embers to inferno and a cover of Metallica's creeping death! After the show the entire band came off the bus and chatted signed stuff and took pictures. It was a great night!

game trading? Wouldn't they just get a bunch of duplicate copies of games then?

Nice, I saw them play this exact set back on May 3rd in Poughkeepsie, NY (for the exception of Watch The World Burn) and it was great. Really good to hear the band play some old stuff that they haven't in a while. They like never headline anymore so this was a treat. But they had no video game trade thing at that time...that would been kinda cool though.
