For Today -- Douglasville, GA -- March 10th, 2012

City: Douglasville
State: Georgia
Venue: 7 Venue
Date: March 10th, 2012
Tour: Fight the Silence Tour

I went to this show because i love For Today and i like MCMB but the other three bands were meh for me. Thought i would post the sets so people who were debating going would know what was being played.

I got to the venue like an hour before doors and the line was massive and it took over an hour to get in the door due to the venue having all tickets at will call. i only saw last two songs for Make Me Famous so i dont have their set and they were boring to me so no disappointment. MCMB were next and they played a couple new songs which were pretty good and their old material was just as good as last time. next was stick to your guns and to me they have an air of hardcore douchebag about them and my opinion hasn't changed since i saw them two years ago. A skylit drive has an annoying vocalist and i wasn't in to them at all except their cover of Love the Way You Lie. Finally was For Today. this was fourth time seeing them and this time they played their new track Fearless and showed they have only gotten better since Breaker. I cant wait to hear the new CD and see them live again.

You just summed up my opinions of both bands perfectly.

Tempted to go to this, but it's still a no go unless For Today plays Psalm of the Son.

They actually get some fairly large names to play. You're obviously not gonna see Slayer headline there or anything, but even I was surprised at some of the people that had played there. Plus, the owner is a genuinely nice guy.
