Inquisition -- Atlanta, GA -- December 7th, 2011

Astral Path to Supreme Majesties :rocker:
Nefarious Dismal Orations
Empire of Luciferian Race
Command of the Dark Crown :rocker:
We Summon The Winds Of Fire (For The Burning Of All Holiness)
Where Darkness Is Lord and Death the Beginning
Embraced by the Unholy Powers of Death and Destruction
Imperial Hymn for Our Master Satan
Crush the Jewish Prophet :rocker:
Ancient Monumental War Hymn
Desolate Funeral Chant
Cosmic Invocation Rites

This was my 2nd time seeing Inquisition, and first time seeing this long of a set (last time they got cut off about 3 songs.) The show wasn't announced until about 5 days before it happen so I was amazed to see about 100 - 125 people there! The venue isn't that great about promoting shows (Archive Gallery) to a whole lot of people so I was in shock to see that many people on a Wednesday night. I was talking to Inquisition after the show and even they were surprised about the turn out being that was their first time in this area of the country. Great show by a great band! If you are into "true" black metal or just really into dark music check these guys out. Just a vocalist/guitarist and a drummer making all the noise on stage which adds to how awesome they make their shows! Super nice guys too, if you can recognize them without the corpse paint feel free to say hey to them.

I live in Augusta and had no idea they were playing until someone told me the night after, at Mayhem. I was pretty disappointed, but at least I got to see them at MDF this year.

^^^
That may have been me.

This show was booked on very short notice....they had a change to their tour plans a week before and were able to secure the show the next day. It ruled.

What could Archive do to better promote shows? I know of every show that goes on there but you could also say I'm 'in the loop'. Would be nice to hear some suggestions so that more people come out to these DIY shows.

Wish my brother went to this. He went to Mutilation Rites, said they were fucking amazing and probably the best band he's seen all year.

I saw them at MDF too and that's what I included on how they got cut several songs. Dagon even said on stage "we're getting ripped off here" haha I thought that was pretty cool of him to be straight forward like that.

They only had a couple items at Rites of Darkness, but they said they would have more for the Dark Funeral tour.
