Steel Panther -- Hollywood, CA -- October 17th, 2011
For my 22nd birthday, I went to the weekly Steel Panther show in Hollywood. It was a great fucking time!! I picked up a few friends and arrived in Hollywood around 9:30. We pregamed in my car for a bit before heading in. I was a dumbass and decided to buy my Olde English before hitting the road, so it was a bit warm by the time I got to Hollywood and tasted like shit:hecho: I went in a met up with a friend of mine and kicked it outside until Steel Panther was supposed to go on at 11:15. They ended up going on at 11:45 and playing until 1am. They played two songs, then spent a good 10 minutes introducing themselves. It's funny how full of themselves they are and the shit they say on stage. I love how its obviously a joke, but everyone loves every second of it. They kept trying to get a girl to come on stage to show her tits, and finally got their wish after the fourth song. Michael Star pulled some really nerdy looking Ron Weasly looking guy to come on stage and take her bra off for everyone. It was kind of funny to watch this guy struggle with it  The band then left the stage so Satchel could do his guitar solo. It was one of the most entertaining guitar solos I have ever seen!! He started off doing the usual guitar solo and trying to get the crowd to cheer along. Every time he paused, he kept mouthing "wow! look at that!" After a few minutes, he ran over to the drum kit and started to hit the bass drum while he was playing and did an awesome medley. The mix of him looking shocked at how awesome he was and the fact he was playing drums and a guitar solo at the same time made me literally laugh for a few straight minutes. I was loving every second of it. The band came back out and finished with a few covers. Some girl went on stage during the Motley Crue song and rubbed her tits on the drummers face for half the song. He looked happy:tongue: I'm pretty sure I have the set right. I couldn't tell what cover song they did at the beginning. I feel like they played more, but I can't remember anything else they could have played at this point. It was definitely a great way to celebrate my birthday :D

I know! I've seen them play that one time. They kept teasing us with it by making references to the song, but never played it :(
...sound of music?
Those guys really are ridiculous
sounds like a great show! Will have to see 'em next time they come around!
I would love to see these guys at some point, sounds like they put on a really fun show.
Also, happy belated b-day!
I really want to see them. Being 18 though I can't lol.
I really would like to see them do a cover set followed by them playing their first album.
