Shred, White, and Blue: Sundays 6-8 PM

Hey guys, seeing as how I've joined on my school's radio station, I thought I'd let you know that I'm going be a part of the metal show there! We play everything (emphasis on EVERYTHING) that is metal and we are glad to take requests if you call in. I just started this week but I've already gotten to talk on the air for a few minutes and pick some music. I'll get more involved as the year progresses. The two guys hosting it this year are graduating so there's a good chance that I'll have the show all to myself next year! :horns:

Just go to the box on the top for your preferred method of streaming.

Also that's 6-8 CST.

What's on now? It sounds like a freeform jazz Deep Purple.

Opeth - Devil's Orchard

Two pieces of feedback:

-Be prepared to start talking right when the song ends. Turn the mic on a few seconds before the end of the song and mentally prepare yourself to start talking the millisecond there is silence. Even if a song is fading out don't be afraid to start talking while the song is halfway fading to silence. That's actually half the reason why there are fadeouts in the first place.

-Say the song and artist name as quickly as you can when you get on the air. I like to switch it up between the station ID and the name of the song/artist as the first thing I say.

I see you're playing Protest the Hero right now. I'm liking it. Surprisingly, I've never gotten into these guys before. The singing always put me off, but I'm kind of liking it now that I'm listening to a whole song!
