Opening act: Kid Koala

This was a free outdoor show in Montreal and the place was packed! There were like 100 0000 people out there. Kid Koala was kinda cool. Karkwa were really impressive, they sounded a lot more intense and heavy than on cd. Arcade Fire were of course impeccable. They're one of my favourite non-metal bands. Highlights were No Cars Go, Rococco, Month of May and Power Out.

Still one of the best couple live sets I've seen this year. They're fucking incredible.

I think a bunch of people at UVM were thinking of going up for this. I haven't heard anything about it lately, though.
