I hope amon amarth doesn't keep free will sacrifice in for the upcoming north american tour...better songs off twilight to play but i guess they are mixing it up.

Arch Enemy set looks good, Blind Guardian one however looks meh

They had an hour. Who the hell gives Blind Guardian only one hour?! :(

There's a serious lack of Radikult in that Morbid Angel set.

>implying that even though new albums sucks, that Morbid Angel has had a bad setlist in like the past 3 years

PowerMaiden 07-27-2011 02:56 PM

Amon Amarth is one of my favourite bands but this set (and their sets from the past few years exept when they did 2 sets a night last time around) are awfull.

Only songs from the last 3 albums with the exeption of Death In Fire and Pursuit Of Vikings. Nothing from the first 4 albums, what the fuck ?

I hope I won't regret travelling to go see them in Québec city in addition to my Montreal gig in august.

To me , the following songs are really bad choices for live playing (even though I understand that they want to play a lot of stuff from their latest album) and they need to play old stuff instead.

Free Will Sacrifice
Destroyer of the Universe
Live Without Regrets
Guardians of Asgaard
For Victory or Death

Cheers !

Erm, most festivals?

This is what I always say about the majority of European festivals. Bands never get long enough to play.

treghet 07-27-2011 05:23 PM

I'm getting pretty excited to see Morbid Angel again, seeing as the setlist is still pretty damn good.

they seem to get a whole lot more time than american festivals.

and the only one I don't care for on that blind guardian set is turn the page.
