Stone Temple Pilots -- Eastlake, OH -- July 19th, 2011
Venue: Classic Park
Source: Me Crackerman Wicked Garden Vasoline Heaven and Hot Rods Between the Lines Hickory Dichotomy Still Remains :D Big Empty Silvergun Superman Plush Interstate Love Song Big Bang Baby Down Sex Type Thing Encore: Dead & Bloated (w/ 2 audience members singing the intro) Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart The set is the same as the last STP post, minus Bi-Polar Bear. Awesome show overall. I'm glad I can still see these guys as they were my favorite band growing up. Glad they relied mostly on the first two albums. Still Remains is my favorite song by them and they didn't play it the last time they were in town, so that was sweet. This was part of a concert series that takes place in Classic Park (minor league baseball stadium) each year. Previously, Bob Dylan and Alice Cooper have played here as well. Two crappy bands opened. Tickets were $10 for shitty seats, but my friend and I ended up moving closer to the stage for a better view without issue. |
Sucks that they dropped Bi-Polar Bear, but awesome that Still Remains is getting its much deserved due.
The song's actually called Silvergun Superman. |
