Silent Lucidity as the last song? What were they thinking?
Silent Lucidity as the last song? What were they thinking?
They were thinking "It's 1991 and Silent Lucidity is our biggest song ever right now, so let's send the crowd home happy" |
They did the same when they closed Rocklahoma. Terrible song for an end.
|
So they do all of Operation Mindcrime...
except Speak? |
Considering their back catalog at the time, that's a pretty terrible setlist.

I don't think that's right at all. Typically on that tour Last Time In Paris was before Mindcrime, and yes, they did play all of Mindcrime. |

When I saw this leg of the tour they played Last Time In Paris during the encore. They did not play it on the first leg of the tour. And they definitely played all of Mindcrime including Speak. The Empire tour was the first time that Mindcrime was played in it's entirety. Link |
A few things I remember about this tour..
1. Suicidal Tendencies opened when I saw them at the Rosemont Horizon (Chicago). 2. They had a treadmill on stage so Geoff could "walk the thin line" while singing... one of the cheeziest things I've ever seen. 3. Roads to Madness was a shortened version... That sucked!! 4. No Take Hold Of The Flame! Curses!! This concert was the beginning of the end for me as a QR fan. All of them after this, with the one exception when they recorded their 20th anniversary tour (live:evolution), have been D- at best. |
