Witchaven -- Atlanta, GA -- June 5th, 2011

Fuckin' awesome live band. The sound was as good as you're gonna get at an art gallery, but they still kicked serious ass. I'm gonna have a MAJOR bangover tomorrow.

Faces of Death
Terrorstorm
A.D.D.
Black Thrash Assault
Unholy Copulation
???
Dawn of the Unholy

As far as I know, they did not play Empty Chasm :(

I talked to the vocalist/lead guitarist after the show. Nice guy. He liked my Vektor shirt. He was talking about weed the entire show, and since I've never gotten around to smoking any, I told him I've never smoked any before in the hopes that he would jump on that and invite me to get high with him or something, but alas, no. He was telling me how it's not for everybody, that if I really wanted it it would come to me, how he's a much different person sober. I was just nodding, I couldn't really understand what he was saying half of the time

Also: this local band Living Decay opened again. I've never listened to them on record before, but if they are anywhere near as good as they are live, this band is the next big thing in death metal. Such good riffs and grooves that had me banging my head :rocker:

that dudes funny as fuck. When i saw he had gotten arrested 2 days before the show for peeing in public. He asked the audiance if anyone liked sports or something and I yelled "WWE!" and the bass player laughed. Really cool dude.

I'd love to see Living Decay, they rule.
I think they have a record deal too, my e-friend is good friends with the band and I know they are not "available" haha.
Witchaven would be badass too, sadly the show here is 21+ and the dumbass who booked the show made them OPEN for Band of Orcs, who are not nearly as good as Witchaven, nor as popular outside of Santa Cruz.

I hate trying to have conversations in a loud environment. Especially ones of substance.

Their show here got canceled because the venue fucked them over - A-;;

Yeah, I remember you mentioning them in that "drummers as vocalists" thread. I've seen them three times now, they are soooo good. and that sucks about the 21+ show dude :(

I didn't talk to the bassist (the bassist wasn't the vocalist was he?) but the vocalist was saying that he was in jail for a month and a half for smoking weed. That's brutal :flame:

These guys are awesome live, I saw them in some room behind a mexican restaurant in Chicago. I missed them at MDF cause we got there late but I talked to one of the guys there. He complimented me on my Testament shirt! He also said that them and Vektor are gonna tour in the fall :rocker: I don't know the full details but they're coming to Chicago!

Yeah, I heard about that. Since this is bound to be a small-ass tour, I'm sure I can try to get them to come up to Burlington. :agree:
If these guys didn't already play all the time together in L.A., I'd say this would be the tour of a lifetime.
