Speechless on all accounts. Other than playing Jet City Woman over any song off s/t or The Warning makes me want to punch every one of them in the chops.
|
The greatest part about this show was the interviews before and after the sets on the radio.
After they were done a female DJ said. "Wow, I can't believe Queensryche has 12 albums out." I really wanted to say "Bitch, they've been together for 30 god damn years. Is 12 albums really that shocking? |
Not very good, but then again for 9 songs, I wouldn't really have expected more. Given Queensryche's track record for not realizing that most people only want Empire-and-earlier material, this could've been worse. I expect at this point that Silent Lucidity and Jet City Woman will be in every Queensryche setlist, especially if it's for anything sponsored by a commercial radio station.

Pretty much, word for word. |
Well, at least they did two off Mindcrime. That's an improvement I guess:tp:
|
I only saw Queensryche on the Live Mindcrime Tour back in '91 and the Operation Mindcrime I/II tour about 5 years ago. While I enjoyed the shows, I don't ever need to see Queensryche again, I agree with the poster who said only their Empire and before material is any good.

I don't keep up on QR these days.
Are they actually on tour with GODSMACK, or is this a one off thing? |

The line up, in as close of order I can remember because I didn't go and I'll be waiting for Fonz to prove me wrong in some way. : Godsmack Hollywood Undead Puddle Of Mudd Queensryche Black Label Society All That Remains Escape The Fate New Medicine |
I'm a little surprised that BLS and ATR aren't billed above Queensryche at this point.
