Anathema -- New York, NY -- May 20th, 2011

Opening for Blackfield...

Thin Air
Deep
Angels Walk Among Us
Lost Control
Fragile Dreams
One Last Goodbye
Flying

I finally saw them! I hope they come back with a full band soon, they said they would. Sorry no Blackfield set, I left cause I don't care about them.

I didn't know about this until way too late (aka a few hours ago) because when I looked at the show I just saw Blackfield and failed to notice the opener. :boohoo: I really wanna see Anathema.

Can we rename this to "Anathema" -- New York, NY -- May 20th, 2011?

You know I'm just jealous I won't get to see an acoustic version of Thin Air.

Just not my thing. Like Dream Theater, it's just boring.

They're not much different from new Anathema at all, but whatever floats your boat, I guess.

And Vanden Plas are really similar to Dream Theater, but I love VP and don't like DT at all. It's strange, but it happens.

Same set for Anathema tonight in Boston. Awesome set from them, just wish it had been longer or had a couple different songs in it, would have been fine trading Lost Control for Angelica, Are You There, or A Natural Disaster. I stayed for a couple Blackfield songs, but left - a mixture of being bored, and not wanting to wait 2+ hours after the show for the next train. I'm going to give them a shot on their recordings, though.
