I'm looking for suggestions of songs I could cover to use as an audition but all I have at my disposal is Rock Band, but I have all the games and can make a decent recording, I have a few already but none are really good. To my defense I had a flu when they were recorded, I will post the three best ones here.

you can use the Rock Band mic to record on your home computer/laptop. Download Audacity, and it will recognise the Rock Band mic as an actual microphone to record with, and then you can make audio recordings of any song you desire!

I actually use Audacity, and I did not know this. I will have to give this a shot and see what kind of results I get.
