The show was a Death Metal Matinee. Doors opened at 1:30, show ended at 6:45. It was very bizarre leaving a venue with the sun still up.

Opening with Brood Of Hatred is pretty fucking badass, ive seen them do that one 3 times. Suffocation needs to add Suspended In Tribulation to the setlist more.

Cool set, but only 9 songs? Glad I didn't do the road trip for this.

The had to wrap up quick because there was another show right after them. It was pretty lame.

That sucks, even though I'm sure they put on a great show nonetheless. They're supposed to be playing at The Crazy Donkey in June, so I may have to hit that up. Haven't seen Suffo since '06.

After that set, the crowd was chanting for one more song, and they came out and played "Habitual Infamy" as an encore. Awesome show though, anytime you get a chance to see suffo you gotta.
i caught Mike Smiths used drum stick which was kickass. :rocker:

Shit, I wish I stayed. And I could have too. My brother and I left right after Pierced because we wanted to catch the 7:07 train home. We got to Grand Central at... 7:09.

Oh well, I've seen them do Habitual Infamy before.

I would probaby shit myself if Suffocation just walked on stage and busted into Brood of Hatred. Defnitely one of my top 5 Suffo songs.

A death metal matinee? This has officially been added to my bucket list now.
