Skeletonwitch -- New York, NY -- April 17th, 2011
3 Inches of Blood
The Goatriders Horde Destroy the Orcs Lords of Change Trial of Champions Fear On The Bridge (Upon The Boiling Sea I) (new song) Hero of the Grave (pretty sure that's what it was called) Silent Killer Night Marauders Deadly Sinners Battles and Brotherhood We got Night Marauders instead of Forest King, this was my first time seeing them and I know they more or less always play Forest King, but I would of preferred that. Skeletonwitch: Blinding Black Rage Submit to the Suffering No Rest for the Dead The Skullsplitter Crushed Beyond Dust Infernal Resurrection (new song) Sacrifice For the Slaughtergod Upon Wings of Black Baptized in Flames Repulsive Salvation Beyond the Permafrost Soul Thrashing Black Sorcery The Despoiler of Human Life Within My Blood Pretty sure they didn't change anything. The opening band was kinda bad - the vocalist really killed their chance of being 'good'. |
We got Night Marauders AND Forest King

Are you sure the new song wasnt "Lords Of Change"?

awesome set too, i wish this was coming to canada
yes, they played Lords of Change third, and then another new song. |
3 Inches of Blood were sick. Skeletonwitch were pretty damn crazy, too.
The only problem I heard everybody had with us, the opening band, was that our vocalist's mic kept fading in and out. That's not really his fault, though. SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION: www.praetorian.bandcamp.com |

SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION: www.praetorian.bandcamp.com
that and it was just pointless noise/screaming(singing, music wasn't too horrid). apparently they spammed the fuck outta 3 Inches of Blood's facebook(no idea if they did it for Skeleton as well) the day of the show, as if the people going to the concert wouldn't have any idea they'd be there. |
I have no idea what you're talking about on that one. I mean, I understand if you're not a fan of the music, but there was no spamming of anyone's facebooks. We tagged them in a few of our posts for promotion, but that is about it.

awesome set too, i wish this was coming to canada
Too bad Skeletonwitch isn't coming here, I agree. But 3 Inches of Blood is doing an all-Canadian headlining run in May! Don't miss out! Not sure why their name is first. I just wish they were with skeleton witch and not cancer bats
Ahhh, yeah. That would make the show infinitely better. I'm surprised that Skeletonwitch has been playing after 3ioB on these shows. Definitely thought that 3ioB was much bigger! Perception is biased though, since they're able to play 1k+ venues here. |
