DAMN! Now that's a King's X set.
I wish they would play something, ANYTHING off Ogre Tones. |
I'd love to see King's X live.

They are easily they 3 coolest dudes as a band that I've ever met. After every show, they go back to the merch tables for a meet and greet for EVERYONE, no VIP tickets. They will sign anything, take any picture and answer any questions. Hearing Dug's speech during Over My Head back in 2009 changed my life forever. |

Been a big fan ever since. |
I wish they would play something, ANYTHING off Ogre Tones.
Agreed. It's odd, too, that they went from playing the entire album on its tour, to not playing any of it at all. I don't get it.

I actually have the whole speech written down on my Facebook. Long story short it's about making the best out of life, no matter what you do. As much of a pussy it makes me sound, I almost had tears in my eyes. I got them to sign my copy of the Ogre Tones' booklet and got dug to sign the bass pick he handed to me at the end of the set. I love, play along, and sing every lyric to that album every time I listen to it. Maybe, just maybe the new next US tour they'll play something off of it. |

I've been a fan since the first album, and Ogre Tones is right up there with my absolute favorites.

Ogre Tones is my favorite followed by Gretchen and Dogman. I really hope King's X does another tour sometime soon. I don't think I could ever get sick of seeing them. |
