Primate - Draw Back a Stump
Just picked up this cd at the Whisky A Go Go, where Primate played tonight. I would definitely write a review of their performance, but I showed up the second they ended, so I saw nothing of it  I called the promoter to see what time they would go on and was told 1015, so I left a good amount of time before that, but rain and traffic caused me to get there at 10 and they went on early. The door guy realized how bummed I was and let me in for free to buy a cd. I listened to it 4 times on the way home and it kicks soo much ass. You can listen to the entire thing on their website www.primategrind.com but it is a lot more convenient to listen to it while I'm away from my computer. There are 6 kick ass originals and a cover of Black Flag's Drinking and Driving. There are no tracks that dissapoint. The stand out tracks are Global Division, Wasted Youth and Reform? Anyone who listens to good music needs to get this haha. If you love Brutal Truth, Venemous Concept, or just Kevin Sharp, get this. I'm excited to see Primate on Friday with Wormrot. Heres some West Coast dates if you want to grab the cd, otherwise order it from their website now.
