That's pretty cool that you had Andrew Stockdale there for the encore. You are lucky that you had Dr. Alibi also. I wanted to hear that when I saw him in Chicago last month because that is one of my favorite songs off the new cd. How did Miles Kennedy sound on that? Nobody can sing like Lemmy, so I would think it would sound quite a bit different.

Nobody can do Lemmy mate. Some songs are meant for him, and him only. Having said all that, Myles pulls off just about all the songs he sings with Slash. I wasn't too fussed on Stockdale being there, as I really don't like Wolfmother and find his voice irritating. ;) |
I don't listen to Wolfmother either, but I always think it's cool to get those surprise guest musicians. When I saw Slash, Rick Nielsen came out and they played Ain't That a Shame in Cheap Trick-style.

When I saw Metallica, Lemmy came out. Thats much better. haha

I was supposed to review this show, but the promoter had over sold the show or something - how was Taking Dawn/Coheed?

Taking Dawn were decent mate, but their mix was horrible. As for Coheed and Cambria, I find having a house brick inserted up my anus would be less painful than having to endure even one song from them, which is why I found a seat in the bar area to escape their dribble.;) |
