Sick show. Still hungover. I'd never been to a show at Cafe Campus before. I liked it a lot!! They should have the majority of the metal shows there, not Club Soda, IMO. Great venue for filming too. I apologize for the shakiness in parts. I was hammered. Check out Glen's rant before Desecration. Funny stuff. LOL, I also stumbled into the back area, and met Jack + Ralph. I told Jack Cannibal Corpse was awesome, and he didn't seem to like that.

Nice! But anyways, do you think you can tell me about the drive up there? I ask because I may be going to University of Vermont next year, and the closet place for metal shows is Montreal. Just wondering how easy it is to drive up there and stuff. From what I've read, it takes about an hour and 50 to get up there from Burlington. Not a trip I would like to make very often, but hey, ya never know... |

From where I live it's about 90 minutes. Not bad at all. I live in a town of 30,000 people, and we don't get concerts. I'm so used to traveling for shows the trip to MTL is cake for me. The drive itself isn't bad. Driving in DT Montreal can be a pain (like all big cities), and parking isn't cheap, but the only real issue I've run into is traffic heading onto the Champlain Bridge off 15-N. It's usually fine, but sometimes you can get held up during rush hour. Overall, you shouldn't have a problem. |

Is it a town on the border or something? Oh, and how are border crossings? And are the speed limits really that slow in Quebec?
The drive itself isn't bad. Oh, and how are border crossings? And are the speed limits really that slow in Quebec?
I live 30 miles from the border. Yes, Customs can be a pain. Plan an extra 30-45 minutes, cause there are often lines, and occasionally Immigration will pull you in and run a check. Pain in the ass, but it is what it is. Speed limit on the highways is 100 km/h (63ish mph), so no real change. Trust me, there's nothing to be intimidated by, pretty much everyone speaks English, most areas are relatively safe, etc. |

Not so. If you come home after a show, you're looking at 1am or so, you'll go right through. Never seen a line that late. |
