Resurrection Chimaira Christmas 11! Great fucking show! I thought after the first few songs we were getting The Impossibility of Reason all the way through. Oh well. Great set and great selection. Ohio Sky opened, along with my buddy's band Solipsist, who are the best up and coming metal band in town. The new Chimaira bass player was awesome too. Chimaira was spot on all night. Merry Christmas!!! |
You've had a pretty good last couple of days show-wise, I'd say. Fucker.  ;)

I'd say as well :D |
Nice set. Still waiting for them to play Bloodlust though.

My body is throbbing in pain. I have a splitting headache. I can't hear anything. But, fuck, that was by far the best show I've seen this year. Will talk about it later after I recover.

Dude Bloodlust would be sick. I saw them in November in Chicago and they rocked. They played Lazarus at that show and it was awesome. Glad they continued to play it. I like how their set goes album by album. I'm glad to see Frozen in Time (I would love to mosh to that epic breakdown in the middle). Try to Survive, Pictures in the Gold Room, Save Ourselves, and Sp Lit are cool to see as well. Chimaira is such a great band and their new album should be brutal and more up tempo than the infection (according to interviews I've seen from Matt and Rob)

yeah, I've seen Chimaira around 10 times and that was the first time I heard it live. |
God damn Chimaira always breaks out awesome sets at these Christmas shows. I wish I lived closer to Cleveland, I would kill to go to one of these shows.
