The MMA is to boxing what Mexicans were to white people.

Wow lots of hate on this board lol. I don't understand it though, I think it's pretty much the perfect sport. I mean 2 guys in a cage using a blend of the best martial arts styles in the world to see who is the better man.On top of the fact that it's REALLY fun to watch.... how could you not at least appreciate that?

I could post a picture of a gaggle of douchebags in Affliction shirts, but I think the bolded portion says more than I ever could.

If we downplay the importance of that highlighted portion than by default you downplay the very purpose of sports: competition. Putting forth more blood and sweat than your opponent, working harder to be the better player/fighter. Sure there are people who are going to take it too far (the douchebags who wear affliction and tapout everyday and fight in their backyards) but you're going to find that with any sport.

That has as much to do with the actual sport as Nike has to do with basketball.
You're crossing the line between intelligence and pretentiousness if you don't recognize that MMA is good sport.
