Welp, I only heard fourteen of these, and I heard a shit-ton of albums this year. Oh well.

Biggest shock is Agalloch at #1 and Alcest nowhere in the top 40. Umm, okay? Also kinda surprised to see Maiden miss the cut since AMOLAD made it in '06. Only three albums from my anticipated top ten (Ludicra, Atheist, Watain) made their top 40, which is the biggest difference between my list in theirs ever, I'm pretty sure. Weird, weird year.

It really isn't as bullshit of a list as I thought it would be, but there are alot of these I haven't heard of. The top 5 is pretty solid though, and I'm suprised to see Thou in the top 10. I didn't even know they had a new album out, gonna have to check that out.

No Blind Guardian or Maiden.....really....

Also disappointed in the lack of Heathen, Anathema, and Alcest.

Deftones but no Maiden? Bullshit list.

There's a lot I think should be on there, but the lack of maiden is the most shocking to me.

Fear Factory and Deftones can suck it. What I've heard of the new Maiden isnt great, but I'd rather see that coloring book LP on the list than fuckin sucktones.

No Maiden, Accept, or Overkill :confused:

Either way, very disappointed. Only 3 of my top 10 are in their list.
