Gama Bomb -- Atlanta, GA -- November 15th, 2010
Bonded by Blood and Evile were okay.
Gama Bomb was the band I wanted to see most and they didn't disappoint. They were incredible and energetic. Too bad the vocals were pretty quiet and their set was criminally short. Forbidden slayed. I wasn't crazy about the new songs but they will probably grow on me. "Twisted Into Form" was the highlight for me I have loads of law school work left tonight and class in the morning, so I skipped out on Overkill this time (they were great the last time they came around). Yes, I'm lame. GAMA BOMB 01. Zombie Blood Nightmare 02. Final Fight 03. Three Witches 04. Hammer Slammer 05. OCP 06. We Respect You 07. Hell Trucker 08. Last Ninjas Unite 09. Mummy Invasion 10. Zombi Brew FORBIDDEN 01. Alpha Century (intro) 02. March Into Fire 03. Step By Step 04. Adapt Or Die 05. Omega Wave 06. Twisted Into Form 07. Through Eyes of Glass 08.
You skipped a band who hasn't played Atlanta in 13 years to do homework? LAME. Gama Bomb was great. Forbidden was great although they played too much new stuff. Words can not describe how good Overkill was. |

Overkill hadn't played in Atlanta for 13 years? Wow, Atlanta got screwed! I'm from the northeast so I've seen them a couple times in MA and NY. But yes, I'm lame, as I previously expressed. |
You think the set was short in Atlanta...I saw this tour last week in Richmond and Gama Bomb played maybe six songs total, or literally about 15-20 minutes total. It was pitifully short, but they ruled nonetheless.

I was there too. They played more than six songs for sure, the songs are just rather short that you forget about most of them. We didn't get Mummy or Last Ninjas but we got everything else + BulletBelt |
