Any comments on Sonata Arctica?

Sure. Good musicians. Very boring however. I don't know what people really see in them. It's WAY too dramatic/Broadway/theatrical for my taste. They overstayed their welcome, taking bows, and having a 10 minute long 'ending'. It just didn't work with an Overkill crowd, but they seemed to be popular amongst everyone else.

Overkill wiped the floor with them in every way.

Pairing Sonata Artica with Overkill was a very odd choice but I would have liked to have seen SA live. Their last album is excellent.

Totally agree. I was there; I kept yelling shit like "flower metal!", haha. I enjoyed a few of the songs, though. But they totally did overstay their welcome, I wanted them out like halfway through their set. It wasn't their concert.

And Overkill was fucking amazing.

I'm surprised they didn't play Coma.

The friend I went with was really disappointed, that being his favorite Overkill song.
