Y&T -- Allentown, PA -- August 5th, 2010
One helluva show, that's all I can say. Unfortunately due to a miscommunication I wound up missing half of Icarus Witch's set, but what I did see was fantastic, and I was so stoked that they played "Capture the Magic".
Icarus Witch setlist:
01.Out For Blood
02.Nature of the Beast
03.Queen of lies
06.Capture the Magic
07.Draw Down the Moon
Y&T came on earlier than expected, hitting the stage around 9:40, and played all the way til midnight. These guys certainly give you your money's worth, and even played extra long last night because they hadn't played the Allentown area since the Contagious tour in 1987. The crowd was decent (room was maybe 70% full, but the people were a really good crowd). They even started asking for fan requests during the show, and thanks to a motion that I started, they played Midnight in Tokyo! That was fantastic. The whole band was great and really tight and Dave Meniketti played his fucking ass off. Such an underrated guitarist, and a great singer to boot. After the show, the band came out and hung out with everyone for a bit, and all the guys were really cool. Nothing but positive things to say about this show.
02.Don't Wanna lose
04.lonely Side of Town
06.If You Want Me
07.Don't Stop Running
08.I'm Coming Home
09.I Believe in You
10.On With the Show
11.Eyes of a Stranger
13.Bar Room Boogie
14.I'll Cry For You
16.Rock and Roll is Gonna Save the World (partial, fan request)
17.Midnight in Tokyo (fan request)
My only complaint is not playing "Contagious". I love that track!

 Posting from my phone, on my way home from a last minute decision trip to BB Kings for Y&T tonight! More commentary from me to come!
what'd you think of the new icarus singer? personally i liked 'em a lot, saw them opening for otep/iwrestledabearonce and they sounded lighter then i'd ever scene em.
By the way, me with Dave Meniketti:
No I wasn't there. I only like a few of their songs....not enough to make the hour journey and have them not play them.
