:eek::eek::eek: Sorry bro... |
The shirt with the dates wasn't available either, but at least I can order it later.
I was looking forward to those songs, but what can you do. I still got all of Focus and most of Traced, so I'm still happy about the show. Paul was right in front of me the whole time. :D |
I went to the show in Vancouver. They played those two tracks. I had VIP tickets to meet the band, Paul is such a down to earth guy. Reinert is huge in person too, it was rad to chat with them for a while. I also ended up hanging out with everyone in Intronaut except Danny Walker, during the setup for Cynic.
Dysrhythmia was cool to watch. Can't believe the bass player and guitarist are Luc Lemay's new recruits in "Gorguts". Both musicians are out of this world. as for Cynic, it was total perfection from start to finish. "Focus" front to back was facemelting. Then topping it off with basically ALL of "Traced In Air" plus a PORTAL song, the setlist could not have been better. |
Yeah, yeah. Awesome Cynic set. Whatever. :bouville: (just butthurt because I missed it :snivel:)
Somebody post something about IntrOnaut in one of these threads, please! Did they play anything new? Any news on the release of their new album? Did anyone hear them for the first time? If so, what did you think? Heavy as balls, no? Did anyone notice that the bass player pretty much leads the entire outfit, and that his guitar is almost as long as he is tall? Let's chat about these phenomenal mother fuckers for a second! |

I cant remember what else they played. Closing with "Any Port" was interesting, the dual drum thing going on between Danny and Dave (also guitars) was phenominal. |
This sounded like an excellent show.
This makes me wish I was either: A. still living in Detroit or B. this tour was coming to Texas Oh well. |
Closing with "Any Port" was interesting, the dual drum thing going on between Danny and Dave (also guitars) was phenominal.
Awesomer!! :rocker::rocker: Sounds interesting.
they did play "The Literal Black Cloud"
Awesomest!!! :rocker::rocker::rocker: That song is a fucking monster on album, and it's even better live.
I cant remember what else they played.
Probably not much. Based on their standard song length, three new songs plus "Black Cloud" and "Any Port" would have taken up around thirty minutes right there. I don't know how long their allotted time slot was, but I'm guessing they may have been able to throw in maybe one or two more, at most. They played WHittler of FOrtune and the title track from The Challenger when I saw them last year, as well as Australopithecus and Cavernous Den of Shame (another monster) from Prehistoricisms. Anyway, thanks for posting. I take it they didn't mention anything about a release date for their new album, then? |
Intronaut's new record comes out October 12th.

It sounds pretty badass. I can't wait for this album. Prehistoricisms was a fucking BEAST - the bar is set very high. :D |
